Why certificates are so important
Wir möchten nachvollziehbar machen, wie und unter welchen Bedingungen unsere Kleidung entsteht. Deshalb arbeiten wir mit ausgewählten Produktionspartnern und setzen je nach Produkt auf zertifizierte Materialien und Produktionsstandards.
GOTS and GRS assess defined environmental and social criteria within the scope of their respective certifications. These certifications provide guidance to our customers and make specific requirements along the certified production chain transparent.
GOTS
Global Organic Textile Standard
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a recognized standard for textiles made from organically produced natural fibers. Only textile products consisting of at least 70% organic fibers can be GOTS-certified, and all chemicals and processing aids used must meet specific ecological and toxicological criteria. The certification is renewed annually and is supported by independent certification of the entire supply chain. In addition, compliance with the strict criteria by GOTS-certified companies, such as ours, is rigorously monitored through dual-audit systems.
PETA
PETA approved vegan
To better identify vegan fashion and significantly simplify the shopping experience for conscious consumers, the organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) awards a seal that allows animal-friendly fashion brands to prominently highlight their vegan clothing. With the “PETA-Approved Vegan” logo, fashion labels can clearly identify their bags, shoes, and other clothing items as vegan. Through our partnership with PETA, we can ensure our high standards and encourage the textile industry to embrace sustainable change.

GRS
Global Recycled Standard
The GRS is designed to meet the needs of companies that wish to verify the recycled content of their (finished and intermediate) products and ensure that social, environmental, and chemical regulations are met during production. The goal of the Global Recycled Standard is to define requirements for the accurate specification of substances and materials used, as well as for proper working conditions. Furthermore, it aims to minimize environmental and chemical risks. The companies targeted operate in the cotton processing, spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, and sewing industries.

GRS
Global Recycled Standard
Der Global Recycled Standard (GRS) ist ein internationaler, freiwilliger Standard, der Anforderungen für die Zertifizierung von recyceltem Material und der Produktionskette durch Dritte festlegt. Zusätzlich enthält dieser Standard weitere Kriterien für soziale und ökologische Verarbeitungsanforderungen und chemische Beschränkungen. Ursprünglich wurde das Rahmenwerk von Control Union Certifications (CU) im Jahr 2008 entwickelt, jedoch ging der Besitz am 1. Januar 2011 an Textile Exchange über. Das gemeinsame Ziel von GRS und uns ist es, den Einsatz von recyceltem Material in der Bekleidungsindustrie zu erhöhen, um das jährlich ansteigende Volum an Textilabfällen zu minimieren.
