7) Use of Customer Data for Direct Marketing
7.1 Registration for Our Email Newsletter
If you register for our email newsletter, we regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information required for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing further data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter, which ensures that you only receive the newsletter once you have expressly confirmed your consent to receiving the newsletter by clicking a verification link sent to the specified email address.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. In doing so, we store the IP address assigned by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration, in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data collected when registering for the newsletter is used strictly for the purpose for which it was collected.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. Subject to your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the provider also carries out a statistical evaluation of the success of email campaigns using web beacons or tracking pixels in the sent emails, which can measure open rates and specific interactions with the newsletter content. Device information (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system) is also collected and evaluated, but not merged with other data sets.
You can revoke your consent to email tracking at any time with effect for the future.
We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that protects our visitors' data and prohibits disclosure to third parties.

The only mandatory information required for sending this reminder is your email address. Providing further data is voluntary and may be used to address you personally. We use the double opt-in procedure for sending the email, which ensures that you only receive a notification once you have expressly confirmed your relevant consent by clicking a verification link sent to the specified email address.

8) Data Processing for Order Processing
8.1 To the extent necessary for contract fulfillment for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data we collect is passed on to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products under a corresponding contract, we process the contact data you provided when ordering (name, address, email address) in order to personally inform you, within the scope of our statutory information obligations pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, about upcoming updates via a suitable communication channel (e.g. by post or email) within the legally prescribed period. Your contact data is used strictly for the purpose of communications about updates owed by us, and is processed by us only to the extent necessary for the respective information.
To process your order, we also work with the following service provider(s), who support us fully or partially in carrying out concluded contracts. Certain personal data is transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the following information.
8.2 Disclosure of Personal Data to Shipping Service Providers
- DHL
As a transport service provider, we use the following provider: DHL Paket GmbH, Sträßchensweg 10, 53113 Bonn, Germany.
We pass on your email address and/or telephone number to the provider prior to delivery of the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or delivery announcement, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, provided you have given your express consent for this during the ordering process. Otherwise, for the purpose of delivery, we only pass on the recipient's name and delivery address to the provider pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Disclosure only occurs to the extent necessary for delivery of the goods. In this case, prior coordination of the delivery date with the provider or delivery announcement is not possible.
Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future, either against the controller named above or against the provider.
8.3 Use of Payment Service Providers
- Apple Pay
If you choose the "Apple Pay" payment method offered by Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment is processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your device running iOS, watchOS, or macOS, by charging a payment card stored in "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you must therefore enter a code you previously set as well as verify using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, along with information about your order, is transmitted to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then re-encrypts this data with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to carry out the payment. Encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the success of the payment.
Insofar as personal data is processed in the transfers described, processing takes place exclusively for the purpose of payment processing pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymization completely excludes any connection to a person. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.
If you use Apple Pay on the iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase you made via Safari on a Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate via an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that could identify you personally. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and disable "Allow Payments on Mac".
Further information on data protection with Apple Pay can be found at the following internet address: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203027
- Google Pay
If you choose the "Google Pay" payment method offered by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), payment is processed via the "Google Pay" application of your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with NFC functionality, by charging a payment card stored in Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To authorize a payment via Google Pay of more than €25, you must first unlock your mobile device using the verification method you have set up (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint, or pattern).
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, along with information about your order, is passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay in the form of a one-time transaction number to the originating website, which is used to verify that a payment has been made. This transaction number does not contain any information about the actual payment data of your payment methods stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a one-time valid numeric token. In all transactions via Google Pay, Google only acts as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction is carried out exclusively between you and the originating website by charging the payment method stored in Google Pay.
Insofar as personal data is processed in the transfers described, processing takes place exclusively for the purpose of payment processing pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Google reserves the right to collect, store and evaluate certain transaction-specific information for each transaction carried out via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the purchased goods or services provided by the merchant, photos you attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction, and, if applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.
According to Google, this processing takes place exclusively pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in proper invoicing, verification of transaction data, and optimization and maintenance of the Google Pay service's functionality.
Google also reserves the right to merge the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.

Google AdSense
This website uses Google AdSense, a web advertising service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). Google AdSense uses so-called cookies, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. In addition, Google AdSense also uses so-called "web beacons" (small invisible graphics) to collect information, through which simple actions such as visitor traffic on the website can be recorded, collected, and evaluated. The information generated by the cookie and/or web beacon (including your IP address) about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there. This may also involve transmission to Google LLC's servers in the USA.
Google uses the information obtained in this way to evaluate your usage behavior with regard to AdSense advertisements. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google AdSense is not merged with other Google data. The information collected by Google may be transmitted to third parties if this is legally required and/or insofar as third parties process this data on Google's behalf. This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which enables an analysis of your use of our website.
By default, Google (Universal) Analytics sets cookies when you visit the website, which are stored as small text snippets on your device and collect certain information. The scope of this information also includes your IP address, which is, however, shortened by Google by the last digits to exclude direct identifiability.
The information is transmitted to Google's servers and processed further there. This may also involve transmissions to Google LLC based in the USA.
Google uses the information collected on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities for us, and provide further services related to website use and internet use. However, the collected data cannot be assigned to a specific person and is deleted after a storage period of two months.

If you want to stop cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the "Personalized Advertising" function in your Google account settings. Data is also transferred to: Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada.
Using cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymized visitor data, including information about the device used, such as IP address and browser information, in order to evaluate them for statistical analyses of usage behavior on our website and to create pseudonymized usage profiles. Pseudonymization generally excludes direct identifiability. Data is not merged with clear data about you collected in other ways.
All processing described above, in particular the reading or storing of information on the device used, only takes place if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.

11) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking
11.1 Meta Pixel
Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service of the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta").
If you click on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook and/or Instagram, "Meta Pixel" is used to add a parameter to the URL of our linked page. After redirection, this URL parameter is entered into the user's browser via a cookie set by our linked page itself.
This makes it possible, on the one hand, for Meta to determine visitors of our online offering as a target group for displaying advertisements (so-called "ads"). Accordingly, we use this service to only show the Facebook and/or Instagram ads we place to users who have also shown interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined based on the websites visited), which we transmit to Meta (so-called "custom audiences").
On the other hand, "Meta Pixel" can be used to track whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement and what actions they take there (so-called "conversion tracking").
The data collected is anonymous to us, i.e. it gives us no insight into the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, only takes place if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
The information generated by Meta is generally transmitted to and stored on a Meta server; in this context, transmission to Meta Platforms Inc.'s servers in the USA is also possible.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.
11.2 Google Ads Remarketing
This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.
For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in your browser, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you have visited. Further data processing only takes place if you have agreed with Google that your internet and app browsing history will be linked with your Google account and information from your Google account will be used to personalize ads that you view on the web. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website in this case, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form audiences. As part of the use of Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transmitted to Google LLC's servers in the USA.
All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, only takes place if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your page visit.
You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

11.3 Microsoft Advertising
This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA.
This makes it possible to specifically address visitors to our websites with personalized, interest-based advertising, who have already shown interest in our shop and our products. The advertising is displayed based on a cookie-based analysis of past and current usage behavior.
In cases of retargeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device to record pseudonymized data about your interests and thus tailor advertising individually to the stored information. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device. This means you are shown advertising that is highly likely to correspond to your product and information interests.

11.5 Google Ads Conversion Tracking
This website uses the "Google Ads" online advertising program and, within Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). We use the Google Ads offering to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites using advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords). We can determine, based on the advertising campaign data, how successful the individual advertising measures are. In doing so, our aim is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.
The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. As part of the use of Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to Google LLC's servers in the USA.

Please note that certain functions of this website may not be usable or only usable to a limited extent if you have disabled the use of cookies. Google's privacy policy can be viewed here: https://business.safety.google/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

11.6 Google Marketing Platform
This website uses the Google Marketing Platform online marketing tool operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP").
GMP uses cookies to place ads relevant to users, improve campaign performance reports, or to avoid showing you the same ads multiple times. Using a cookie ID, Google records which ads are shown in which browser and can thereby prevent them from being displayed multiple times. In addition, GMP can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, if you see a GMP ad and later, using the same browser, visit the advertiser's website and purchase something via that website. According to Google, GMP cookies do not contain personal information. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server.
We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool, and therefore inform you accordingly, to the best of our knowledge, as follows: By integrating GMP, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and store your IP address. As part of the use of GMP, personal data may also be transmitted to Google LLC's servers in the USA.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

11.7 Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking
This website uses conversion tracking technology from the following provider: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA.
For the use of Universal Event Tracking, a tag is stored on every page of our website that interacts with the conversion cookie set by Microsoft. This interaction makes your user behavior on our website traceable and sends the information collected in this way to Microsoft. The purpose of this is that certain predefined goals, such as purchases or leads, can be statistically recorded and evaluated in order to make the orientation and content of our offerings more relevant to your interests. The tags are never used for personal identification of users.
11.8 Pinterest Tag Conversion Tracking
This website uses conversion tracking technology from the following provider: Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
If you came to our website from an advertisement on the provider's domain, the success of the advertisement can be tracked using cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, pings, or HTTP requests).
For this purpose, certain device and browser information, possibly including your IP address, is read via the tracking technology in order to record and evaluate user actions predefined by us (e.g. completed transactions, leads, search queries on the website, views of product pages). This enables the creation of statistics about usage behavior on our website after being redirected from an advertisement, which serve us in optimizing our offering.

13) Tools and Other Matters
Cookie Consent Tool
This website uses a so-called "cookie consent tool" to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications requiring consent. The "cookie consent tool" is displayed to you when you access the page in the form of an interactive user interface, on which you can grant consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications by checking a box. Through the use of the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if you grant the corresponding consent by checking a box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on your respective device if consent has been given.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. In principle, no personal user data is processed in this process.

A further legal basis for processing is also Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. As controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user consent.
Where necessary, we have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.
Further information on the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CONTINUE PROCESSING IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OUTWEIGH YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES TO ASSERT, EXERCISE, OR DEFEND LEGAL CLAIMS.

15) Duration of Storage of Personal Data
The duration of storage of personal data is measured according to the respective legal basis, the processing purpose and, where applicable, additionally according to the respective statutory retention period (e.g. commercial and tax law retention periods).
When processing personal data based on express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the data concerned is stored until you revoke your consent.
If there are statutory retention periods for data processed as part of contractual or quasi-contractual obligations based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, this data is routinely deleted after the retention periods expire, provided it is no longer required for contract performance or initiation and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in continued storage.
